In recent years, the number of mobile telephones has dramatically increased, and text messaging has become a key method to reach people immediately. The E2Campus service allows the University to use the most up-to-date communication method to reach students, faculty and staff in the event of an emergency in addition to the University’s other established communication methods.
E2Campus is just one of the communication channels used in the event of an emergency. It is not replacing any of our other previous methods of communication. It is building on those existing methods to keep up with the latest technology used by many members of our community.
