Honors Academics
Honors Academy Program Requirements
The ذكذكتسئµ Honors Academy is a rigorous, high-expectations program designed for scholars who are committed to academic excellence, leadership, and service. To remain in good standing, Honors Academy Scholars must meet the following requirements:
Academic Standing
- Enroll in and successfully complete at least 15 credit hours each semester
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
- Earn no semester GPA below 3.0
- Complete 30 credit hours of Honors coursework, including the Honors Capstone Project
Engagement & Service
- Complete 10 hours of community service each semester
- Attend all mandatory Honors Academy events and meetings
Enrollment & Compliance
- Maintain full-time enrollment and continuous academic progress
- Be a Pennsylvania resident
- Adhere to all policies outlined in the ذكذكتسئµ Student Handbook and the Honors Academy Student Handbook
Admission Criteria
For First-Year, First-Time Students
- Minimum high school GPA of 3.5
- Demonstrated leadership
- Pennsylvania residency
For Transfer and Continuing Students
- Minimum college GPA of 3.65
- At least 24 transferable college credits
- No semester GPA below 3.0 at any previous institution
- Demonstrated leadership
- Pennsylvania residency
Holistic Review
Admission to the Honors Academy is competitive and holistic. In addition to GPA, the review process may consider:
- Academic rigor and sustained performance
- Leadership, initiative, and campus or community involvement
- Service-oriented engagement and impact
- Essay, interview, and letters of recommendation
