Educational Impact Nearly Two Centuries in the Making...
As America commemorates its 250th anniversary, ÐßÐßÊÓƵ of Pennsylvania, in partnership with America250PADelco and Visit Delco, invites visitors to experience the story of a campus that helped shape the nation.
Founded in 1837, ÐßÐßÊÓƵ is the nation’s first Historically Black College and University and has served as a beacon of education, opportunity, leadership, and social progress for nearly two centuries.
Through this special historic campus tour series, guests will explore the people, places, and moments that continue to define Cheyney’s legacy and its enduring impact on American history.
From its roots as the Institute for Colored Youth to its continued mission of preparing future leaders, Cheyney’s story is woven into the fabric of the American experience. Simply put, you cannot tell the story of America without telling the story of Cheyney.
Join us as we celebrate America’s semiquincentennial by exploring one of Pennsylvania’s most significant historic and educational landmarks.UPCOMING TOUR DATE
